Multilayer encapsulation of solar modules
- Module production without lamination
- Cycle times of below 30 seconds per module
- Also suitable for the glass-glass encapsulation of roll-to-roll semiconductors
Encapsulation of glass-glass thin-film modules
In contrast to conventional methods, time and energy-intensive lamination is not required for the multilayer process when dealing with thin-film modules. The thermoplastic material is applied to the module edge area in two layers, one on top of the other. The cable is then fed between the two layers or on the rear side of the module.
