Glaston closes deal for automotive pre-processing machines to Chinese customer

Glaston Group has closed a deal for several pre-processing machines with Chinese Xinyi Glass Holdings Limited, one of the biggest glass companies in China covering float glass, solar glass, coated glass and automotive glass. The deal is put into effect in two phases. The first phase, with a value of approximately EUR 1 million, is booked in Glaston’s Q4/2019 order intake. The machines will be delivered during the early part
of 2020.

Glaston Group makes changes to the Executive Management Group

Glaston and Burghard Schneider have together agreed that Mr Schneider will leave the Group. Dr. Burghard Schneider has been responsible for the Bystronic glass business since 2014 and member of the Executive Management Group (EMG) as of April 1st, 2019.

Glaston completes acquisitions of Bystronic glass

Glaston Corporation completed on 1 April 2019 the acquisition of Swiss-German based globally operating high-end machinery, systems and services provider for the processing of glass, Bystronic glass. The acquisition supports Glaston’s ambition to further strengthen its position in the glass processing value chain. The acquisition was announced on 25 January 2019.

Glaston Corporation to acquire Bystronic glass

Glaston Corporation has signed an agreement to acquire the Bystronic glass Group. The globally operating high-end machinery, systems and services provider for the processing of flat glass is currently owned by Swiss industrial holding company Conzzeta AG. Bystronic glass has a comprehensive range of products, highly complementary to Glaston’s, for the Architectural, Automotive and Display markets.
