Bystronic glass: Convincing solutions at the Back-End
Laser edge deleting The process of laser edge deletion allows to delete edges on surface-coated flat glass economically and at a high quality standard. During the manufacture of thin-film solar modules, this will simplify the production process and reduce maintenance costs.
Laser cutting Particularly suitable for the use in the back-end sector: Glass surfaces and sealing layers remain clean and undamaged, glass residues or splinters will no longer be generated. This is a process with extremely high mechanical strength.
Cleaning / Drying Clean performance for a clear view. A concept that has proven itself a thousand times in all areas of glass machining. Bystronic glass' glass plate washing machines are fast, environmentally friendly and energy saving.
Adhesive application / Sealing Bystronic glass' TPS® systems impress via two different applications: - Foil-free thin-film modules can be produced directly on the system - Butyl sealing prior to laminating with film as spacer
Assembling During assembly, the "Bonding" of substrate and cover plate occurs. The two components are positioned onto one another with maximum accuracy. Optionally, the film can be inserted semi-automatically or fully automatically.

With Bystronic glass customers can select between three different encapsulation solutions.
